The drive to the Currumbin Rock Pools is through idyllic and lush countryside. Just 12klm up the valley from Currumbin Beach, this drive is as spectacular at the rock pools themselves. Enjoy the drive while taking in the sites of the farms and nurseries along the way.
Hinze Dam
After a short but lovely drive from the Gold Coast, you will find the entrance to the dam on Advancetown Road, Gilston.
Mt Tamborine Botanic Gardens
Known as a jewel in the crown of the Scenic Rim, Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens is nestled in a valley covering 11 hectares with combined plantings of sub-tropical and cool temperate exotic plants and natural sub-tropical rainforest.

David Fleay Wildlife Park
The David Fleay Wildlife Park, located in West Burleigh on the Gold Coast, provides an enjoyable and educational day out for Gold Coast Kids. The park is home to lots of native Australian animals and plants and is involved in innovative research into nature conservation. David Fleay Wildlife Park aims to become Australia’s premiere wildlife education facility by promoting our state’s wildlife and particularly by focussing on the research and breeding of endangered species and education of the general public.

Pelican Feeding
At 1.30pm every day, hundreds of Pelicans assemble on the beach where the staff of Charis Seafoods throw out their leftover fish, to feed the Pelicans. Charis Seafoods is situated right in front of Ian Dipple Lagoon at 371 Marine Parade Labrador.
