The Natural Bridge is an amazing geological feature which was made from millions of years of water rushing through the roof of a cave. Better still within that amazing feature is a colony of glow worms that will delight and amaze Gold Coast Kids.

Faerie Park, Merrimac
There is something for both girls and boys at this magical playground and park. If you are after something to do away from the beach, then this sizable play area that is tucked away in a little side street in a quiet neighourhood, is certainly a place to visit with your children.

Currumbin Rock Pools
The drive to the Currumbin Rock Pools is through idyllic and lush countryside. Just 12klm up the valley from Currumbin Beach, this drive is as spectacular at the rock pools themselves. Enjoy the drive while taking in the sites of the farms and nurseries along the way.

Hinze Dam
After a short but lovely drive from the Gold Coast, you will find the entrance to the dam on Advancetown Road, Gilston.

Mt Tamborine Botanic Gardens
Known as a jewel in the crown of the Scenic Rim, Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens is nestled in a valley covering 11 hectares with combined plantings of sub-tropical and cool temperate exotic plants and natural sub-tropical rainforest.

Crystal Castle
Crystal Castle, located in Mullumbimby in northern NSW, is about a 45 minute picturesque drive south from the Gold Coast. The attraction presents a delightful escape from the daily grind, very much in keeping with the spiritual ethos that the local Byron area is known for. Explore the enchanting grounds that have been converted into a serene and breathtaking setting like no other.

Burleigh Heads National Park
Burleigh Head National Park is the prominent forested headland midway along the Gold Coast beach strip. Packed into this 27.6 ha park is a range of habitats including rainforest, eucalypt forest, pandanus groves, tussock grassland, coastal heath and mangroves.

David Fleay Wildlife Park
The David Fleay Wildlife Park, located in West Burleigh on the Gold Coast, provides an enjoyable and educational day out for Gold Coast Kids. The park is home to lots of native Australian animals and plants and is involved in innovative research into nature conservation. David Fleay Wildlife Park aims to become Australia’s premiere wildlife education facility by promoting our state’s wildlife and particularly by focussing on the research and breeding of endangered species and education of the general public.


Pelican Feeding
At 1.30pm every day, hundreds of Pelicans assemble on the beach where the staff of Charis Seafoods throw out their leftover fish, to feed the Pelicans. Charis Seafoods is situated right in front of Ian Dipple Lagoon at 371 Marine Parade Labrador.

Wildlife Encounter
Want to meet and learn about the unique and quirky animals of Lamington National Park? Get up close and personal with Russ the friendly Carpet Snake, Maggie the cute-as-a-button magpie, plus many more.

Birds of Prey
Meet the majestic predators of the sky and learn about our resident Owls and Wedge Tail Eagles plus our Kestrel and Black Kite. Witness the varying species in free flight and performing natural aerobatics in front of a jaw dropping mountain backdrop.
