Things to see and do for the kids:

– Meet Santa and take your own family Christmas happy snaps

– Dance and sing-a-long to the tunes of the Ran Tan Bush Band

– Make Christmas craft at Creation Station

– Create a Christmas present by decorating a ceramic plate or mug in the Painting Workshop

– Write a letter to Santa and pop it in the Museum post box

– Jump on Grandchester Live Model Steam for a mini ride (charges apply)

– Play some back yard cricket, badminton and volleyball on the Powerhouse Lawns

Fun for the whole family with Museum entry included:

– See the huge model railway of Queensland

– Take a guided tour of the active railway workshop (enclosed footwear required)

– Get up close to genuine locos and vintage carriages

– Let off some steam at Nippers Railway indoor playground

– Try driving a train on a simulator
