This Easter long weekend, Surfers Paradise will once again transform into carnival of laughter and entertainment with the return of the Australian Street Entertainment Championships. See both amateur and professional performers take to stages across Surfers Paradise, all vying for the crowd’s attention. You can even join in the fun and vote for your favourite amateur act in the People’s Choice Award.
There’ll also be the well-known back-flipping daredevils from Australia’s Got Talent, the Flair Riders, performing BMX stunt shows four-times daily in Cavill Mall.
Plus, you can see the very best professional street entertainers reinvent and integrate snippets of their acts to craft a spectacular new improvisation show, all live, right before your eyes every single night of the event in the Marquee pitch on the Surfers Paradise Beach. Entry is free, exit is by donation in the hat.
