Broadbeach

Broadbeach sits north of Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast and, being central, can be a convenient but busy beach to take your Gold Coast Kids for a day out.

Broadbeach has flagged areas and many Lifeguard towers, owing to the potential hazardous nature of the ocean at this beach and its popularity with tourists. Drinking fountains, beach showers and male and female toilets, including facilities for the disabled, are provided for your convenience. There are also some picnic tables and gas BBQs for self-catering, or several nearby Surf Clubs and cafés offer different dining options. Free car parking is available.

Relax in the sheltered picnic areas while watching your Gold Coast Kids play in the park. The reserve area includes bench seating and a great walking path and bikeway. Take a short walk south along the walking path to the playground at Ken Mansbridge Park , with further BBQs and a covered eating area.
